Hi Mary, I just wanted to write and thank you for the quick delivery.  I was pleasantly surprised to find it in my mailbox yesterday when I can home from work.  I wasn't expecting it until next week, especially with the awful weather in California and that it is coming from across the country!  It [the Sophia Wristlet] is absolutely beautiful and I immediately exchanged the contents from the purse I was using to the new one you just sent. Some of the detailing wasn't captured on the Etsy website so to see it "live" was amazing! Thank you again.  You do exceptional work!

Well, I just got them [Alice iPod nano 4th generation cases and Elliot wallet] yesterday, and I have to say, they are AMAZING!!!! the pictures didn't do them justice at all. They are exactly what I wanted, and I couldn't be any happier. I just wanted to thank you again, you are truly talented. I was showing them off today, and everyone that saw them couldn't believe how cool they were, and were amazed when I told them they were hand made. Thank you again, your customer service was better than anything I've ever seen.   Thank you,

Mary is a Miami designer with a great knack for colour and form. After doing her schooling at the New World School of the Arts in Miami she honed her techniques while working at a high-end clothing shop, where she developed her skills in pattern drafting, garment cutting, clothing construction, fittings and alterations.
I'm not surprised I'm so drawn to her work, as she shares my love for Japanese fabric (paper for me!) design and combining colour patterns to create new and visually exciting works.
They say necessity is the mother of invention, and that is true with the origins of her business. She couldn't find the purse of her dreams, so she created it, and thankfully hasn't stopped! Every one of her purses are one of a kind, so you know you have something totally unique!

"I’ve had my Scarlet model purse for almost a year now and I love it!  My handbag has been used daily since it arrived in my hands.  I have not once, swapped it out for another purse… not even for one evening.  It’s one of those items that you are drawn to at first, and as the days, weeks, months go by; you fall in love with it even more!  Although this is the smaller model of Mary J Maalouf handbags, it’s my favorite! I do not like to carry a lot of things with me when I go out, so this handbag is the perfect size for my Jane wallet, keys, phone, and a few essentials.  This bag has stood up to everything from airports to baby!  My bag is still in its original shape, I have not had any problems with it whatsoever.  The magnetic closure, clasps, and zipper pull are all of good quality. "So let me cut to the chase. Mary is my sister, but I would like to make it very clear that I am not biased. I have been using Mary’s handbags now for over 3 years. From day one with my new purse, I made it a point to never use any handbag other than Mary’s. Now, I have about 13 of them or so – probably more. I have at least one of every model, but my personal favorite is the Bennet. I carry around a lot of things with me and the Bennet offers me the most space with the most compartments. Needless to say, I’ve put all of my handbags through some pretty serious wear and tear and they still look like new! It really is unbelievable. My friends and family can attest to how much I use my handbags – they’re the only ones I use. Oh, and the wallet. It’s so practical! Whenever I don’t want to carry my purse into a store, I just grab my wallet and tuck it under my arm and I’m off!

I know this has turned into a rather long review, but I really just want to give you guys the most valuable information from a source that has really put these handbags and wallets to the test. They are extremely durable and gorgeous and if you don’t get a compliment on them on the first day, I’d be shocked.
